Currently based out of Buffalo, NY, Collin Ranney holds his formal design training in the theatre with a Master's of Fine Arts in Scenic & Costume Design from The University of Maryland. He has designed and assisted at theatres throughout the Washington DMV area.


Originally born and rasied in Upstate New York, Mr. Ranney holds his Bachleors of Fine Arts from The University at Buffalo.  Mr.  Ranney has received various Helen Hayes Award Nominations both in Outstanding Scenic Design and Outstanding Costume Design.  He has served on the United States Institute for Theatre Technology (USITT) Prague Quadrennial USA Exhibit committee, where he collaborated to design and curate the exhibition for the 2011 Prague Quadrennial.  Mr. Ranney's experience and knowledge working in the theatre have allowed him to transition into the areas of interior design, home staging, and residential design.
