Currently based out of Buffalo, NY, Collin holds his formal design training in the theatre with a Master's of Fine Arts in Scenic & Costume Design from The University of Maryland. He has designed and assisted at theatres throughout the Washington DMV area and now Buffalo, NY.

 

Originally born and raised in Upstate New York, Collin also holds his Bachelors of Fine Arts from The University at Buffalo.  Collin's work in Buffalo has earned him multipe Artie Award nominations for Outstanding Scenic Design.  In the DMC area, he received various Helen Hayes Award Nominations both in Outstanding Scenic Design and Outstanding Costume Design.  Collin's experience and knowledge working in the theatre has allowed him to transition into the areas of interior design and home staging.

Collin is a storyteller and collaborator at heart, with a keen understanding of how to bring narratives to life visually. His approach to design is rooted in gesture, whimsy, and imagination. Collin posseses a passion for distilling the essence of a story, honing in on its core themes and emotions to ensure that the design elements enhance the overall experience for both performers and audiences alike.
